The plugs sent are not Tekin they are branded Porik. They are also 2.4GHz, only. However, they are easy to set up and work as well as the other Tekin plugs I have, so not a problem.
These plugs are brilliant, easy to install and do exactly what it says onto the box. I'm so glad I bought these. The app makes it so easy to use, would thoroughly recommend them.
Working well and linked effectively to Alexa
I was so pleased with the first 4 that I bought another 12 off these well designed smart sockets. The are small and neat and because they are not bulky two can be plugged side by side in a double socket, They are easy to set up and link to Alexa and the WiFi range is remarkable. We set a routines to do various things, eg turn on lights at sunset and turn of at a later time (no need to mess with timers), one is in the garage to control the car trickle charger after say 10hrs, etc. They are ideal for the elderly as they can control the sockets using their voice (with Alexa) to save them having to stoop low. Ordering from Teckin is easy and delivery is prompt.
